Launched in 2007, after 15 successful editions, SIFF PFROJECT has witnessed 86 projects into production. It is a comprehensive platform that connects Chinese and Sino-foreign coproduction features with potential partners, investors and distributors.

SIFF YOUNG is a film talent support programme directed by the Shanghai Film Bureau and organized by Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF). It has been successfully held for two years, and has recommended a total of 12 young filmmakers, including Dun He, Han Shuai, Li Xiaofeng, Liang Ming, Liu Xunzimo, Rao Xiaozhi, Shao Yihui, Shen Ao, Wang Jing, Wen Muye, You Xiaoying and Zeng Guoxiang. In recent years, the selected filmmakers have created a number of outstanding films with dazzling box-office results such as HOME COMING, THE BEST IS YET TO COME and CARPE DIEM, and have gradually become an indispensable and important force in the development of Chinese cinema.
